I read a great quote by Audre Lord coincidentally this morning: “Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
Meg, a really good summary of what we have to be tough about, overwhelming as the truth of what all is going on as we speak. It seems the media is reluctant to call these people like Musk, Trump, and Vance what they actually are: TRAITORS! And the media seems afraid to call what has happened to us a coup. But this is all true. We need to put names to it - it is all easier to process when we have names. Thanks, Meg.
Spot on and a great speech, coach!
Thanks, teammate! Let’s go! Xo
Trying to balance the toughening and the self-care. Some days that seems like a tightrope walk!

Yes! That’s why part of toughening is being tough enough to say “no.” We need to give ourselves space. XO
Love the framing of this process, Meg. Thanks as always for your inspiring work. Off to lift weights...
You go, Gail! xoxo

You are so right, Marlene. Naming is essential. Thanks for reading and sharing.
